I read this article today on MSN's MoneyCentral.msn.com.  The one thing that ran through my mind ad I read it was, are they suggesting that America's problems is because of fat people?   So maybe I'm being a bit sensitive.  After all, I fall into the category of the 66% overweight people.  I admit it and there is no shame in it!  I'm actively working on that situation I'm even prouder to say!

If I hear or read one more radio, television or on-line news story about that picture of Miley Cyrus taken by Annie Lebovitz for Vanity Fair, I'm going to explode! 

I think it is very irrational of the news media to keep going on and on and on and on about this!  She said she was sorry, she didn't realise it wouldn't be tasteful, what the frak is the big deal anyway?

So she is bare shouldered with half (the top half) of her back exposed. Her makeup is looking vampy, no more ...

There they go, blowing in the wind, my inhibitions!  I now understand what all those "talking heads" mean when they say the older you get the more you tend to enjoy your life.  It's not that I didn't enjoy life in my teens, or twenties  or thirties..good Lord no....in fact, my late teens and my twenties were some of the best years of my life.

 

Now in my forties, let me tell you, I've let go of some hang ups, remember I said 'some') and am trying to really live my life ...

4.2lbs lost this week!  I didn't quite hit the 20lbs I had set for myself by my birthday, but boy did I get within range!  16.8lbs total weight loss since I began my fitness goal on January 7th!  9 on my own and the rest since joining Weight Watchers!

I've become more dedicated and am going steadily on that road to wellness!

Earth Day was the baby of Senator Gaylord Nelson.  See the attached link to read about what has evolved into today's Earth Day!

The crux of it is now, there are so many people who are concerned for the world that they live in!  Major changes might not happen today or tomorrow, but it is a wonderful thought to know that one day our children are going to care as much about our world as we do!  They will learn how to make choices that will have less of an impact on the environment around them, as we are all now learning to do.

I recently realised (some weeks ago) that all those icons that look alike on the front page represent articles written by different bloggers!

I couldn't understand why that person was so popular and why was he getting so much time and why always front and center?  Then when I waved my mouse over the icons, a different name showed up for each!LOL! 

That's JUs default icon I guess?!   Jokes on me.....duh! hahaha

Let me tell you it's been hectic, hectic with everything that goes on in and around my personal life. But I'm sure no more so than for you as well!  Some people handle stress and life little or big problems in different ways.

Some of us take it head on, wrestle the problems and move on.  Some worry it to death, try to deal with it, maybe get someone to help, then life goes on as usual.  Some get totally introverted. They cut off themselves from the outside world,...

Have you ever had one of those moments in your life, when everything might not be perfect but they're just fine?  You are grateful for your blessings while keeping others in your thoughts and prayers and hoping that everything will continue to go well..then whammo!  You get hit with a load of bricks and your smashed against a wall wondering how did you get here?
