You might not be a Soccer fan, if you’re amongst the few who aren’t; you have to admit there’s something about the sport that is exciting.

I’ve not had the chance to watch all of the games, but I’ve seen a few of them.

Even if you don’t follow any of the games, just to watch one is exciting. Watching those men play with such artistic skill is beautiful. [My little one and I even ended up playing soccer in the living room (it was raining outside and she was bored – nothing broken!LOL!)]

Unfortunately, one of the things about Soccer that I detest is the violence. It reminds me of ice hockey! One gets hurt playing these sports! I guess no less than any sport out there. Here’s a link to some of the heated moments!

No Speakers here, so I will wait.

Soccer is like Hockey in more ways than the violence. They are non-stop action that rarely has a time out. So when they say the half is 45 minutes, it is over in 45 minutes, not 2 hours. That is what a lot of people like about it. Basketball is always stopping for fowls and timeouts, football is stop and go. Baseball is stop stop and then play a bit. Only Soccer and Hockey (of the majors) are go go go.

So far, I've seen half a dozen matches and have to say I've enjoyed them all. Football at this level is always great to watch. Like you, the violent aspects of the game don't do anything for me. Thankfully, though, these are usually far and few between.
