We noticed how really bright the Moon was earlier tonight, (last night). It was so bright we could see pretty clearly with our naked eyes (no telescope, though I wish we had one!) what appeared to be Mars! My son told me it is going to be even brighter tomorrow night (tonight).

I did a search on the Internet and found the following link which gave great details! Tomorrow day and night will be extra special! At 6am and 6pm! Check out the link!

That's cool.

I don't think I'll get to see Mars. The skies are usually too bright in Singapore for stars and planets, and it's been cloudy and rainy these nights.

I just wanted to drop by and wish a Merry Christmas to you, FS!

Wow!  FS got a comment from the elusive Ravenblack!

Anyway, I didn't have a chance to go outside last night to look (it was soaking wet), but did notice that the moon was insanely bright.  I will have to look outside tonight.

I was looking forward to seeing Mars brightly lit but it's very cloudy here and isn't likely to clear tonight. The last time it passed so close I was able to see quite a bit of detail with just a small telescope.

Hi sweetheart! So glad to see you! Merry Christmas to you too! We actually got to see Mars two years ago around that time when it was naked to the human eyes, remember that time...at least I think it was a year ago! I took my kids at the time to an Observatory so they could see it we couldn't miss an opportunity like that! It turned into quite an adventure too because it was dark where we had to walk and it was only brightened by the moonlight, no man-made light!
