I'm happy to be alive and well and I hope you are too!

Let me tell you it's been hectic, hectic with everything that goes on in and around my personal life. But I'm sure no more so than for you as well!  Some people handle stress and life little or big problems in different ways.

Some of us take it head on, wrestle the problems and move on.  Some worry it to death, try to deal with it, maybe get someone to help, then life goes on as usual.  Some get totally introverted. They cut off themselves from the outside world, bury their heads under cover or in the sand, and wish the problem would just disappear!  Some pray and pray and hope and carry on.

Whatever your way of handling the cards that life deals you sometimes, depends on who you are, and how well you respond to each situation.

For me, there are times when I worry something to death, then I pray, then I reach out for some advice, then I try to be proactive in handling the situation if I can.  Or if what I do or all that I do is not enough, I pray and I let God do his work.  Believe me, he does do his work!

If I told you that today I asked for something (in prayer) and my prayer was answered, would you believe me?  God answered, he did what I asked, and I'm very happy.  Then I reflected and said to myself, the problem itself isn't over, however, I did get what I asked for and I am grateful.  Because this situation alone is enough of a burden on me and my sisters and brothers but we knew we are not alone.  But I will not be ungrateful to God and say "Yes, you did what I asked, but you didn't.....", because he did give me what I asked for.  For that I am humbled.

I also realise that I'm not good at being introverted or locking myself off when it comes to handling some situations.  I need to talk things through, with others or with myself when no one else is around to talk to, even if the lady in the car beside me think I'm nuts sitting at the traffic light talking to myself!  Goodness, I do that a lot!  So my new trick is to have my cell phone at an angle (as in speaker mode) while I reason my thoughts aloud!

LIfe can be testing alright, but I am glad that I'm alive and well and I hope you are too!  I'll be showing up more often  because I do need to continue journaling my life as I know it and because I do miss JU!    Happy Friday y'all!

No, but I believe YOU believe it and that is what is important, right?

Good to see you here, Donna.  I've missed you.

Hiya Mark!  LOL! Yes, I definitely believe that and it's alright if you don't.  Nice to 'see' you too and it's been a week or so but I'm still floating!  I've got to catch up when I can!

I don't think there's one single sure way for people to deal with their problems. I'm sure everybody deals with it in their own unique way. As long as they aren't making the situation worse who cares how you handle making things better.

We miss you, too.

Excellent answer, and I fully agree with the second part.

Thx Chris!  You know, as busy as I was and as caught up as I was in my going-ons...I missed you guys too!

True!  It's handling whatever the situation is that makes a difference and not just sitting and looking at it!  That is if you can do anything.  Sometimes there is absolutely nothing you can do except hope that the good Lord will make the truth be known.  We are kind of on that latter end.

Awwww......thx Doc!  And ditto on what I said to Chris!
