A very liquid day!

You would think that after my year, last year of success in losing some of the fat, and learning to eat right and all those good things, that I would never make a mistake such as the one I did yesterday!

As you who read my blogs know, I didn't give up my weight loss plan, but I did give it a rest during the holidays (what else is new right?!) but being the realist I am, that was the thing to do!

 

In comes the first day at work.  Packing lunch was so much fun because I was officially beginning my second day of back to eating right, etc.   I packed my lunch pack in a hurry.  Two cans of Slim Fast...(don't ask, yes, I went there again!), a bottle of yogurt shake - lowfat, light..., a container of grapes, and a cup of orange juice!

Obviously I was not in my right mind, I forgot to pack water!

My cohorts in weight loss, and getting their waist line smaller (male and female) at work, looked at me as if I was nuts!  Really Donna, are you sure about that?  Oh yes, I bragged, I can do this I'm determined to get back on track! 

I never learn!  While everyone else was having their Lean Cuisine and other lean edibles, I had my juices and such to keep me comfort!  I never imagined I would be that starved, what the heck was I thinking?!

 

Of course I survived the day, gosh was I hungry!  I had to stop at the big Walmart to get some leave behinds from grocery shopping and decided to buy more greens and fruits too!  Oh yes, Tuesday I will be armed with a much better selection!

All that juice seems like a lot of sugar.  Sugar always makes me feel hungry later.

I think it's great you're getting back on track.  It's tough to do, especially the organization part.

LOL.  Last couple of weeks not a lot.  I spent a lot of time laying flat on the floor trying not to irritate my back.  Things are a lot better now.

I too let the fitness regime fall away over the holidays.  But I went back last Sunday and have been going every day since.  While I am lucky that I don't need to watch my weight, I do want to try to adjust my diet so I am not eating so many carbohydrates and am eating more protein.

Yeah, good for you!  Those carbs get you don't they!  I love them, but I've got to eat less of them now too.  Thx and good luck to you too!
