I haven't lost any weight lost week, so says the scale at my Weight Watchers meeting!  I wondered if that was correct, because my scale at home says I lost another 3lbs!  Then again, my scale is a regular analog one and theirs is a digital! Maybe I should get me a digital scale and get with the Century!

The good thing is I didn't gain any and that's better news for me!  I'm still busy, cycling, doing exercise dvd and walking! So I'm keeping active and that's always good for my body!

In light of the uproar over Miley Cyrus' "scandalous" photograph ,[http://forums.joeuser.com/310120/page/1/#1719278], so vastly overrated!   I’m all for protecting our children and I am not certainly in favor of them being forced to grow up before their time.  In other words, doing or getting involved in anything that is not for them because they are too young and don’t need to be involved with anything that would be bad for them!

Braeden, aka Sancho Nino made a comment on the blog that I wrote regarding the scandal, it was an interesting and enlightening response which made me go ‘hmmm..”  and gave me more food for thought.

Whatever the phrase you like to use, even the BBC have us covered and it's not a comfortable feeling!  I see what's going on around me in my local area. Lots of houses for sale, whether by choice or not.  Some sitting for months without a buyer.   People being laid off. Budgets being slashed, the prices are up in the super market.  My grocery bill is higher than it's ever been so I have to be even more frugal. I try to use coupons sometimes, but that works some of the times, because these manufacturers don't really give coupons on rice or meats or milk or the foods that are really important!  Why is that I wonder?!

I've become more dedicated and am going steadily on that road to wellness!

The crux of it is now, there are so many people who are concerned for the world that they live in!  Major changes might not happen today or tomorrow, but it is a wonderful thought to know that one day our children are going to care as much about our world as we do!  They will learn how to make choices that will have less of an impact on the environment around them, as we are all now learning to do.
