You are instinctively starting a new phase in your life. It's time to give your life a makeover and to branch out into the untried.

The Sun in creative aspect with Mars in your Solar Return chart assists you with additional energy to draw upon in the year ahead. Self-confidence and action are highlighted. You tend to instinctively know the right course of action to take in most situations. Your desire nature is strong, and increased physical activity, including sexual, is likely. Independent work is favored. Competitive activities may also thrive this year.

Mercury squares Saturn, and some difficulties and delays with communications are likely. Your thoughts are quite sober at times, and you should do your best to avoid negative thinking. It's a strong year for recognizing flaws and errors. As long as you don't forget the "big picture", you could find you are motivated to channel your mental energy into tasks that require structured and organized thought, tackling projects that you may have found too mundane or downright boring in other years. It's a strong year for polishing your skills and formal learning.

Venus harmonizes with Neptune and Saturn, and forms a tense aspect with Uranus in your Solar Return chart. Certain elements of your social and financial life are stabilized, secured, and more reliable this year. You may solidify a romantic relationship under this influence, or become involved with a mature partner. You handle money more carefully this year. However, there will be distinct periods when these matters feel insecure, largely due to an inner restlessness. Unusual attractions (to people and things) can have you acting on a whim. You may deal with freedom versus closeness issues in your relationships.

A harmonious aspect between Jupiter and Uranus suggests this could be a "lucky" year, although the luck is likely to come from a positive attitude and an enterprising spirit. It should be a strong year when sudden opportunities for advancement in different areas of your life appear. At the heart of this is your ability to recognize and capitalize upon opportunities and potentials. You are more open to new energies, approaches, and attitudes under this influence. Fortunate events occur as a direct result of your willingness to entertain the unusual and to think outside of the box. This aspect favors group activities, financial endeavors associated with groups or organizational efforts, educational pursuits, writing, publishing, speaking, and humanitarian efforts. A positive and optimistic outlook serves you especially well this year.

Opportunities to advance in your career come with a positive attitude and enterprising spirit. An instinct for the right course of action assists you in many of your endeavors. The year ahead is one filled with new beginnings and fresh starts. Love and relationships have their ups and downs, but satisfy overall. It's a strong year in which to stabilize and manage your finances.

2008 is a Number Three year for you. Ruled by Jupiter. This is a year of sociability. It is a friendly time, when it is easy to enjoy life and other people. Focus is on personal freedom, reaching out to others, making new friends, and exploration. You are more enthusiastic and ready for adventure. It is likely to be a rather lighthearted year, when opportunities for "play" time are greater than usual. It's also a good year for expressing your creativity. Advice - reach out, but avoid scattering your energies.

2009 will be a Number Four year for you. Ruled by Uranus. This is a year of work and development. It's "nose to the grindstone" time. It's a time to deal with practical matters, and it's not a time to be lazy or especially gregarious. Sometimes, it can be a year that feels hard, monotonous and routine, and/or lonely. Positive new relationships are generally not formed in a Four personal year. Advice - get yourself organized, work to build your resources, keep busy.

<pubDateParsed>2008-05-12T05:03:28</pubDateParsed>
ASaxyGirl on HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARMA!!

Happy birthday, Angie!

<pubDateParsed>2008-05-12T05:03:28</pubDateParsed>
SanChonino on HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARMA!!

No balanced power has attacked us, and when was the last time a formal power attacked us?

7 December 1941 Japan attacked us, it was the last time any nation state was stupid enough to declare war on America.

1949 thru 1989 the Soviet Union attacked us through surrogate states and groups. They were the ones to fund terrorist groups until they lost control of them in the late 80’s and were attacked by the groups they formed and funded. They tried to get out of the terrorism business. According to the head of the KGB at the time it was the only way to attack America and not have to suffer the consequences. They also funded the attack on our financial system in the 1980’s that caused a minor recession, had they better understood the capitalist system they would have done far more damage but the end result was the end of the USSR rather then the end of the USA.

Various Arab states picked up where the Soviet Union left off. With their oil money they funded attacks on Americans abroad up until 2000 when they lost control and were attacked by the groups they funded. In 2001 President Bush then changed our policy to include any state that supported or harbored terrorists to be treated as terrorist states. We went into Afghanistan and Iraq using that justification and the bad guys went black until they can find a new way to attack America.

Various terrorist groups that set up their own funding no longer needing nation states to support them and have gone wild ever since. The war is still going on since the 1970’s it is just in slow motion so you fail to see what they are doing but they are doing it and they are still trying to destroy America.

That is just a quick down and dirty list off the top of my head with out any research.

I just can't help but think of Penn & Teller's show on Showtime when I see stuff like this. Anybody else see that episode where environmentalists signed the petition to ban Dihydrogen Monoxide?

Yeah, I saw that and it took all of 8 seconds for me to realize the goal was to ban water the one thing we all need to survive all to save the planed and ourselves. Yes, those idiots gladly signed on to eliminate every living thing on the surface of the earth because their hearts are in the right place their brains just have not caught up yet.

<pubDateParsed>2008-05-12T05:03:28</pubDateParsed>
Paladin77 on Going Green

Donna,

And here's what really gets me about this whole deal.

Billy Rae Cyrus (her dad) was on set all day before leaving a couple
hours before wrap up. Why wait for him to leave before doing this?
Why not ask him? And if it was so innocent why is she now saying how

Take nudity out for a minute and ask yourself this....if you were
with your kid at a photo shoot all day in which she wore jeans and a
blouse, and as soon as you left they put her in a bikini without ever
mentioning it, or asking permission...wouldn't you be pissed?

I would.

And then to have her regret it...if it wasn't wrong to her then she wouldn't be so sorry she did it. She wouldn't be on national tv saying it was a mistake and she was embarrassed.

I feel for the kid. She was taken advantage of by people she
obviously trusted, publically humiliated by them. That's the bigger
crime imo.

Great answer, Tova.

The media got what it wanted. They been trying to get her to be a tabloid star for awhile. Another teen star to exploit and sell millions of magazines.
