Life as I Know It; Family; Lifestyle; and Healthy Living!
Pls help me with this JU

We all know there's nothing like a mother's love. She's there to guide you, protect you, love you and even support you even when the going gets tough.

Mom's are so many things to their children and family.

What she does defies all job description. I mean who else do what we do right moms?!

I began writing this and although I'm filled with a lot of thoughts on what to write I thought this would be a wonderful project that I could get contribution for. Not monetary, your talented writings JU!

In the mean time, if you read this, or when you do read this, can you write a sentence or two, or three, or however many you want about your mom and what she means to you?

And/Or if you're a mom, share what you think motherhood means to you. It wil be great to get this perspective as well!

So I'll start off by writing:

There's nothing like a mother's love

that keeps you safe and warm

She gives her love selflessly

Her words, sometimes a chide

yet often tender

It doesn't have to rhyme. Just share your thoughts.

She sometimes embarrasses you in public
But after a few years
You both get a good laugh out of it

(I LOVE MY MAMA)

A mother gives you a place in this world and helps you find your place in this world and sometimes she just put you in your place.

This was a beautiful sentiment, FS.

Those are lovely thoughts you have to share about your mother, FS. Enjoyed it.

I have had a complex relationship with my mom. But despite bumpy roads and trying times, I love her and am grateful for her. She is the woman who gave me life, and put her life aside for years for my siblings and I.

Mothers are the strongest beings in this world...in more ways than one.

Mom is the one who will wipe your nose when you've got a cold . . . but won't touch your used gym socks if her life depends on it.
She's the one that will do anything for her kids - call it the "mama bear" complex, she's gotta protect her cubs (or at least that's how my mother refers to it)

A mother gives you a place in this world and helps you find your place in this world and sometimes she just put you in your place.

Amen, Kelly. That's my momma for you - I love her to death, but sometimes she has to smack me around a bit.

Mothers are the strongest beings in this world...in more ways than one.

Again, the truth, InBloom. My mother is the strongest person I've ever met, and she truly is a wonderful example. I hope that my future wife can be as splendid a mom as I enjoyed.

Mom, all these years I swore I'd be a much better mother than you were. You were mean and self-absorbed...

But now that I'm a mom, I see how organized, energetic, and hard-working you were. You amaze me and I clearly have a lot to learn. Thanks Mom. I love you.

I know! I don't have one to share at the moment, but I can remember some times that we were able to laugh out loud at my antics now that I was older.

Mom's always do that don't they!

Heheh, can you blame her?!!

Ah yes, every mom has these instincts!

Your mom sounds wonderful San Cho...and I hope you find your perfect partner too!

Angela, so nice. It's weird when we were growing up how we saw our moms and when we got older how much different it is uh?! We were so wrong! They only wanted to protect us and guide us straight. We realise this after we ourselves have children. I'm glad I got the chance to let my mom know all that and say sorry for all the misunderstood teen years.

Thank you guys for sharing! I was watching a television program that got me started on this. I appreciate your input!

Oh Doc, I wasn't ignoring you - my apologies. I'm sorry your experiences haven't been good. I'm glad you liked what I wrote!

My mother was the only woman in the world who could lick a handkerchief to wipe grime from my face.

My mother is the only person in the world who knows me so well she doesn't have to say anything to piss me off.

My mother is dynamite surrounded by cotton wool - she is soft and giving but if you don't treat her right she'll explode in your face.

My mother is the one who taught me most about looking after myself by having me look after myself when I mostly didn't want to.

Great article, Serenity.

What a lovely article, FS.

There is nothing like a Mother's Love. I was very lucky to have a wonderful mom. I don't think I could put down in words the love I have for her. All that is good in me she had a huge part in.

And if that wasn't enough I got lucky again with my GF. She isn't perfect but she's perfect for me. She so much like my mother that my mother says she reminds her of herself when she was younger.
