Acknowlwedgement and thanks
“The truth of God’s love is not that bad things are going to happen to you, or that he’ll make them happen; it’s that he’ll be there with you when they do.”
The quote above was taken from a television show I watched the other day on WACX Channel 14 – 24-hours Christian station in my area. Sometimes I tune in when they have something interesting on.

Sometimes we experience things in our lives that are hard to understand and we wonder or might ask “why me?” “What did I do to deserve this?” Sometimes someone might respond to you “That’s just how life is; or that’s just how God works; or he works in mysterious ways”. Sometimes there is no one answer to those questions.
Sometimes you have to look within yourselves for the right answer. Suppose that you are going through life, minding your own business, everything is going well, and suddenly everything begins to go wrong and nothing is ever right again? Or from ever since you can remember you’ve always had a hard life, nothing ever comes easy and no matter how you try, you can’t seem to get it right? Or you might be having a good life, everything is going well, in spite of the troubles you might have from time to time, yet somehow you still luck out anyway and get by?
Do you ever wonder at those ‘bumps’ in the road of your life? I’m sure you might be one of those people who ask “why me?” I’ve done that before, truthfully.
My theory is this; you have to somehow acknowledge God’s presence in your life. Whether you pray to the Universe or some other supreme being, (as long as it’s not idol worshipping for the Lord God is a jealous God according to Moses and the bible), you acknowledge him with love and thanksgiving.
Remember that we were created in his image, so we’re like him in some ways. How do you feel when you’re ignored, especially if it’s by someone who you really care about? They don’t see you or remember that you exist? Wouldn’t you be in a bad mood, wouldn’t you get petulant do something to let them see you? Wouldn’t you be jealous if that person only pays attention to someone or something else and none to you?
How about if they don’t even talk to you or share anything with you? How about if they only remembered you when they want something or when they need help?
Don’t you think that God has a right to be jealous too? That he would be angry? Is he showing the same emotions that we would? Because we are of him, we would react the same way.
It’s reassuring to know that God will be with you when you go through the trials of your life.
I’m probably not making any sense to you right now, its 12:09am and I’m tired and the words are not flowing the way I want them to.
Just be assured that God is there for you in all his infinite wisdom. He works through angels who are there to protect and take care of your every need. You have to acknowledge them and ask for that which you need.
“The spirit of the Lord is here, the presence of the Lord is here, I can feel him in the atmosphere, the presence of the Lord is here.”
