Yum

Right now I'm having a cup of hot Swiss Miss Mocha Chocolate, one of those ready-mix and eating crackers. I'm dunking the crackers and eating it and then I sip....yum...brings me back down memory lane!

I've always loved to dunk food into the drink I'm having, especially when the dunking goes very well with what you're eating. As a child when my mom made porridge, that's cornmeal boiled to a thick mixture (like oatmeal), she would add nutmeg and sweetened condensed milk and bay leaf to it which would make it oh so delicious! Then we would get a thick slice of hardo bread, that's bread that is thick and very soft (compare it to sour dough type, but much better), we would dunk the bread into the porridge and eat....gosh the memory makes my mouth salivate!

I also like to dunk oreos into milk but I don't do that too often!

What's your favourite food item to dunk? I know some people also dunk into soups and such.

Cookies are definitely my favorite thing to dunk.

Why just this morning I did some dunking! I dunked some of my toast into the malt-o-meal I was having.

I wonder if people will list odd things they have dunked...For example, I remember cousins who used to dunk potato chips into their soda.
Who knows...maybe it didn't taste as weird as I would think.

Well, we did not dunk them, but we loved putting salted peanuts into pepsi!

Leftover from childhood,  I love to dunk buttered graham crackers into a tall glass of cold milk.

Also love to dip soda crackers into my chicken and rice soup,  buttered soda crackers of course.

and I love skinnydipping,  whoops....that isn't for here!

I've been known to dunk my french fries into ketchup. Isn't that scandlous?

I knew a woman who'd dunk anything and everything. She was a little overweight and not happy about it, but she loved her food. She was embarrassed when her son dunked his PB&J sandwich into a glass of milk in front of me 'cause I guess I stared a little too long with wonderment. It broadened my perspectives!

That must have been a sight. PB & J on it's own is much better to me!
