On Exercising

Yep! Plumb fall off that health kick wagon. All it took was one week of craziness and running around too much. Good grief! I have not exercise for almost one week now and I swear I can feel the fat (or water loss) making a zig zag line for my thighs and my waistline!

Although I only write about my Power Saturdays, I've been steadily working out at least four to five times a week. I have not done that all week and I'm feeling a little guilty. I'm just being too hard on myself, but it took me such a while to actually begun working out that stopping mid stream when I'm only at the beginning is bad for me.

I’ve had no problem motivating myself. Even when I was too tired and too caught up in my life to do it. However, I’ve been doing it and pleased to notice some difference in my body after only three weeks.

It’s hard work, but worth it!

On Eating

I’ve been eating food, not pigging out. At least I’ve been good with that. It’s what I’ve been eating. French Fries! Lord have mercy, I do love those potato fries! Not the Micky D’s ones but the frozen ones you cook on your own.

Plus I’ve had some…. ready for it? Ice Cream sodas! I made by myself, no not the actual churning of the ice cream, but putting soda and ice cream together just the way I like it!

Yep, I’ve been having fun with food! Oy!

Ah ha Moment

I’m over it though, I found out the culprit. My sister visiting me from Red Hills. Do I need to spell it out for you?! Oy! I don’t know why it is we women go through that?! When it comes to that time, it’s like see food, eat! Crave for everything you are not supposed to have too much of! At least I’m not supposed to have too much of and I’ve had at least more than two servings of each this entire week! [not in one sitting, but over the week]

I don’t usually deny myself food, however I will consciously stay away from food that keeps the calories on when I’m trying to lose some.

[pats self on back….there, there D, it will be alright, you’ll get back on the wagon again].

Yes I will!

It might be the holiday weekend but I better start now. Today I’ll see if I can fit a workout in.

It's so hard to get back on that wagon once you fall off of it! That's what worries me- winter's coming and I HATE the cold and walking in it! Guess I'm gonna have to try the gym/treadmill thing!

Hang in there , Donna! We gonna make it!

Yes, I know what you mean. Even though I'm in Florida, it gets dark pretty early in the Fall and I don't like walking in the dark. And it's really dark on the roads at nights because there aren't a lot of public lights unless there are stores and such around. Where I live, it's really spaced out and not in every section

.

Thx Joe! We can definately keep each other motivated!
