Liberate Yourself

from your fears

your pain

your sorrows

Liberate yourself

from that which binds you

your thoughts

your actions

you

Lift yourself high

so high that you can see

the mountain top

to reach for that star

that shines

within

Disperse those darkening clouds,
That shroud your heart and mind.
And from the desolate bottom,
To the skies you must climb.

I just made that up. You inspired me.

Nice poem, I like the ones that aren't all dark and dreary...I've written a lot of those.

Hah...I'm a lazy writer. Especially when it comes to schoolwork...but I'm not too shabby if I do say so myself.

I always say that in every work of art there is something special or unique, a new way of seeing something, that makes it stand out - that knocks it out of the park, so to speak. This was that section for me. Great job.

No you're not (too shabby)!
(re-edited for clarity! I suddenly realise my last respond didn't sound like it was a compliment and it was!)
