Apparently America wants to know. Apparently that has been the topic of discussion in many a household. Apparently we have to know are we won’t get any sleep!
I wonder why that bit of information is so important. Apparently, so does Clay Aiken. If you noticed it was like he dropped off the face of the planet (to coin a phrase) and we haven’t seen him make as many appearances as he did after American Idol.
He’s been dealing with a lot of things in his private life, so he told Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America. He’s been trying to deal with his depression and the tabloid stories and other things. He’s not too keen on that side of fame where he’s become fodder for the tabloids and they are questioning his sexuality. He wonders why that has to be of such interest to everyone.
Well, I guess some people would say that he’s a celebrity now so he has to deal with it or just jump ship. That would be thoughtless to say though; the guy is learning how to handle the scrutiny and trying to get a handle on his life. And in the mean time he wants to still have his adoring fans.
He didn’t answer the question when Diane asked. In fact, he went around every corner there was in order not to answer the question.
I think he should just come out and say it though. Why not? That would get people off his back right? Or that will make him lose legions of fans and I think that’s the crux of his problem.
