has this ever happened to you?

The other thing that happened from my walk today was my hands swelling up! My hands were swollen, my fingers were swollen so much so I couldn't get my wedding rings off!

It scared me abit because I was wondering what the heck...?! My hubby asked me if I had eaten anything that could have caused that, I said no. I drank a cup of tea and had a slice of bread with peanut butter before I went out in the morning, that's it. Apart from some water during my walk nothng else! He then mentioned that perhaps my liver is bad. I said "What"?!

Of course that scared me! I said I don't know. We decided to look on the internet health sites to see what could be the cause. Mind you I didn't even say call my doctor, she doesn't work on Saturdays anyways!

I found out that it was a normal typical reaction that some runners and walkers experience. Well thank God! Apparently, if you're under stress, that could be a factor; and considering my experience during my walk on Saturday morning, I was under stress somewhat! Also, too much salt intake, or not enough electrolytes in the body. In fact, quite a number of possibilities! The factors for me were stress and the heat.

I'm pasting the article link below so that if you experienced this and never knew why, you can see and that there's nothing to worry about. It was very enlightening!

That is interesting FS - I was with you when you thought it might be somthing scarier than a normal reaction.

Glad it is not something nasty!

I'm glad it wasn't anything serious.

That's exactly why I don't walk. Well, not really, but it will be the excuse I give.
