Ladies, yes, you young ladies out there, we need to have a conversation. A serious one about the way you’ve been dressing lately.

Given my previous article about women dressing like sluts. This brought to mind some of the things I’ve been seeing lately that have been bothering me.

Well, first of all, I’m seeing too many of your cracks lately. Yes, I said it, that part of the body that is not supposed to be exposed so openly in public, has been getting a lot of ‘air play’ lately. I’ve talked about the guys who wear their pants waist at their knees or on their hips; I guess you lovely ladies are trying to give them competition eh?!

What else could it be? If you’re going to wear jeans that is so tight, you can hardly walk or if you do attempt to sit, I can see where the sun don’t shine because of how low the waist of your jeans are, well, it must be a competition!

Just the other day I was on campus at the local university in my area, I saw this beautiful young lady walking towards me, she had on a tank top, a tight pair of jeans, then I realized, wait a minute, is that her underwear? Her pants was unbuttoned, and separated in the way that a man’s pants would be when he uses the bathroom and his fly open, and she was just swinging her hips walking quite importantly down the road, chatting away to her girlfriend! OK, is that a new style now? I wondered if she would go home dressed like that? My guess is probably not!

Just because you young ladies are at college/university now doesn’t mean that it’s carte blanch on the way you dress! At least do still try to keep some decorum about yourself.

Don’t leave yourself open to unwelcome and unwanted attention. The same caution go out to those women who insist on wearing a two piece bikini outside, away from the pool or the beach, with the beach more than 10 miles away! Although the pool is only a stone’s throw away, usually, that doesn’t mean you wander off without a cover up, no matter how gorgeous your body is. I can’t blame you for showing it off, however, there’s a time and place for everything! The lecherous stares you received from the young men around you, well let’s just say, the snickering tells a different story.

As for the views I’ve been getting lately of the ‘twins’, you’ve just got to be kidding! Some of you don’t bother to wear a bra, and I know some bras can be uncomfortable, then at least wear a tank under that garment! Those tops are just too sheer, there’s no way you can say you didn’t know! Not to mention the short shorts that goes all the way up on top of your hips and thighs, and your butt cheek hanging out…there are lechers out there. And as I said, you’re young and beautiful and it’s your right to wear what you want to wear and dress how you want to dress, however, there are a lot of lechers and pedophiles and sick, twisted people around. You don’t know who they are!

So please be more conscious of what you wear and where you are. Sure you can continue to have your own style and dress as beautiful and have fun with your looks, just do it the right way, without having to show too much of what they good Lord blessed you with. There’s such a thing as leaving some for the imagination and not showing it all. You might find this a lot more fun to do than just ‘hanging’ out all over.

One more thing, thank you for taking the time to read all that I had to say. I know you really do care and just having someone point a few tips out to you would make a difference!

Sincerely yours,

A mom who cares

I totally agree with you. Girls nowadays do not know what danger they are courting until it's too late. Guess the parents have to be blamed too. The best is to go back to basics. I'm all for religious upbringing before everything goes haywire.

My my you do sound like a square school ma'am FS.

Leave the girls alone and let them dress the way they want, you have had your youth, you lived it the way you chose - give them the respect to live it they way they choose.

Stop being such a downer on them. All you do is cause ill feelings between the age gappers.

I'm all for religious upbringing before everything goes haywire.

then they leave home and go mad and overboard with their sudden freedoms.

Rubbish, it was the same in my youth, older women said just the same things as you and FS are saying now.

Stop being such spoilsports, they have their youth, the looks and the bodies, but mostly their youth, let them live it and spend it as they want, it is all part of their character strenthening and building - part of their life experience. Just because your youth is long gone do not try to spoil theirs with your petty narrow outlooks.

Remember Tube tops?  They were big in the 70s.  I had one girl (probably about 18) come up to a skill game at a theme park and attempt to toss 5 footballs through a tire.  By the time she finished, one of her footballs was not under her tube!

I'm somewhere between envious of their ability to dress like that (if I dressed like that I'd probably be picked up by the police for indecent exposure, primarily because of how nauseated people would become), and disgusted.

I heard a guy once say, "If I wanted to see your (insert body part name here) I would have dated you."

The young gals do seem to be dressing more laciviously as each decade goes by. It couldn't have this bad when Jennifer1 was a co-ed, I'm sure.

Then again, maybe the girls are just horny. And maybe the guys are happy with that.

! Mark, I know, there are a lot of letching going on out there!

One of the things that prompted me to write this was because of a friend of a friend who went to a local event on campus and my friend couldn't believe how his friend reacted and what he said. He said he couldn't work around ther because of how the young ladies were dressed, he would be in trouble! I know the guy was joking but, you know what I mean. For those who actually might act on what they are thinking!

I appreciate burkas.

Definately not a part of our dress style Deference.

Thanks. I'll take a look at your site.

Not a square Jennifer, I'm very curvy and round!!

My ideas are not prudish, if you look up the meaning of the word, you wouldn't see me described there, believe me! And it is out of respect for them that I write this. If you noticed I said they should continue to have fun and enjoy dressing up, just do it a little more less risque.

I think this is part of the reason they will dress more risque. It's sad that we women can't wear whatever we want without being concious of ourselves and our bodies, but erring on the side of caution is always good.

I don't think it's being a spoil sport to tell a young lady to sit properly because her crotch is showing, sans underwear! Or her butt crack is fully exposed and no one will go up to her and say something, just snicker at her. I guess this is better right?

You're going a bit far Jen, as usual. Try thinking before typing.

There's been many a incidents like this!

I think it's great that they are proud of their bodies. But it would be nice to see them take a bit more care in how they present themselves.

And boys will think like that.

That too! I could tell you some stories. I'm around people like this everyday so I'm totally aware of what goes on!

Thx Tonya! I wanted it to be taken heartily, lightly and with some thoughtfulness. It's not about being a prude at all.

Actually I did think before I typed my reply. I see nothing light hearted in this open letter to young ladies. I read it how I see it. If you think how I see it as GOING TOO FAR FS that is just too bad, blacklist me then.

Some of you don’t bother to wear a bra, and I know some bras can be uncomfortable, then at least wear a tank under that garment! Those tops are just too sheer, there’s no way you can say you didn’t know!

I went braless form the age of 17 to 35 - does that make me a slutty person? hmmm!

Don't be an idiot Jennifer. I'm not against women going braless or in fact sans underwear, who cares, anyone can do what the heck they want. If you took the time to really read and appreciate what I wrote, let me emphasize the section I mentioned:

wear a tank under that garment! Those tops are just too sheer

You know Jennifer, I have neither the inclination or the patience to go into a tiff with you. Take it elsewhere.

You just do not like other people having an opinion of their own FS. Why is that?

You only want replies on your site that state how nice, oh well done, oh good for you, all nicey nicey if you please.

My point about going bra less is just that bra less, I NEVER wore a Tank top if I went bra less when I was a young lady in that light I find your open letter offensive and narrow minded.

But then I am NOT ALLOWED to feel that way around you am I?

AS I said before black list me I will not be darkening your blog door again.

I almost didn't read this when I say "young ladies!"

Ditto!  ,  I didn't know what to expect and thought it was gonna be about??  not sure I guess.

When I was a teenager,  back in the dinosaur age ( the 60's)  girls wore ruffled middi blouses or tops that came down to just above their belly buttons and hip hugger bellbottoms and hiphugger capris.  Bikinis were just getting really popular and of course I never dressed in any of those kind of clothes cause mom woulda killed me!

Personally I think wearing pants that shows one's butt crack is disgusting,  not because I"m a prude,  simply because I think hiding the "goodies" is a tad more tantalizing to the male.  I don't care how much clevage a female shows,  however "the girls" have to stay put,  whether it's with tape, wires, or industrial strenght chains!  I DO believe there needs to be an age limit for the females showing all those goods though!

One of my high school classmates,  shouldn't mention her name I suppose...was raised very religiously,  not allowed to wear makeup, date, dance, or wear anything except the same uniform type outfit.  When she turned 18 she left home,  and ran wild like you wouldn't believe...a happy medium ( not as in size) in life would be good.

Just my 2 cents worth.

P.S.  I don't think just because a woman dresses provacatively gives any male license to assult her though.   I do agree that wearing a suit when not on the beach is in poor taste.  Many countries frown on that,  even if not in the U.S.

there,  now I'll get off my soapbox

 Thank you.
