What a blast!

Yesterday was the one day almost everyone in the office tore out of there because it was Holloween and they had plans of kids coming to Trick or Treat or they were taking their children or grandchildren Trick or Treating. I thought it was hilarious to see the cars backed up and everyone dashing out because the 'witching' hour was almost here for the fun to begin!

I manage to get out early too and made a stop before heading home. By the time we were ready to go, I had to pick up my son's friend and his sister, which I didn't mind doing. The more the merrier. It was me and four children going Trick and Treating for Holloween. My oldest chose to go with her friends and that was ok with us. At first I didn't want to let her go because I didn't expect it, but then I realise, she's 17 and doesn't want to hang around with mom and a bunch of younger kids anyway, so her dad dropped her off at her friend's house.

My youngest daughter was a Sleeping Beauty Princess, my son a Bionicle, his favourite thing to be at this time of the year; his friend was a vampire, or Dracula to be precise and his sister was a Mummy princess, quite good make up jobs too! I unfortunately didn't take the disposable and my hubby wasn't with us so I couldn't take pictures of the Dracula and Mummy Princess costumes but they were really great!

We were joined by another couple and their one and half year old who looked so adorable as a little fairy princess. Off we went to Trick or Treat. Although it seemed as if many people didn't participate as they did last year, the kids came away with quite a load of candy! My daughter couldn't carry her stash anymore and I ended up carrying it around for her.

We had quite a grand time. We returned home tired but happy. And boy, did we enjoy eating those sugary candy. It's not all gone though, there's still quite a lot to be eaten, all in good time!
