Body in Progress Journal Entry
Published on November 13, 2006 By foreverserenity In Diet
I'm trying to get back in that gung ho mood again. I usually start myself off by being careful of what I eat and making sure to eat breakfast. It's a work in progress; me remembering to keep a log and also making the right choices on what to put in my mouth! Hopefully doing this will help me to do both!

Food Journal Entry:

Breakfast: Cup of Coffee
One Egg w/hash browns ā€“ one serving
Slice of Turkey (cold cut)
Whole Wheat Bread ā€“ 2 slices

Lunch today: Sliced Apples w/ sliced Provolone Cheese
One Mango Nectar - drink
Sliced Pineapples
Yogurt

Snack: Water Crackers [this will be at around 3pm]

Dinner: Bake Chicken w/salad or Spaghetti w/Meatballs [not sure ā€“ I know the first choice is better but time and kids choice will dictate]

Iā€™m planning to get some form of exercise in today. I wanted to walk at work but swamped with work so will have to make time at home later.

Tid Bits

I had a bit of a worry this past weekend because of a sudden pain and swelling of my left breast. I thought I would have had to go to the ER but thank heavens, no. The pain and swelling subsided. I probably got squeezed by my daughter who loves to jump on me and also likes to fall asleep on my left arm/side of my chest.

Also on Saturday we did some shopping and I drove a lot so I may have gotten squeezed by my seat belt which happens sometimes, I have to see if I can get one of those thingy you put on the seat belt to make it more comfortable and when we got home, I had a few bags in my hand and had to hold my pocket book to my chest. So I could have squashed myself then. [Note to self, take only what you can handle and make two trips to the car, I don't care how tired you are and too lazy to make two treks!]

Some time this week I have to fast overnight and go get my bloodwork done. I've set myself a minimum goal of losing five pounds by Christmas. Yeah, with Thanksgiving around the corner, bad idea, but I think it's good because I will stay focus!
