49th Annual Grammy Awards

Did you watch the Grammy Awards last night? I did! It was exciting in some moments.

The Police reunited, whose performance I was looking forward to all week, last week! They were great and Sting looked really good, or buffed! I guess that’s why he went shirtless!lol!

Shakira reminded everyone that she really knows how to shake those hips in her performance with Wyclef Jean!

I enjoyed Beyonce’s performance, although she’s done better. Christina Aguilera was absolutely fantastic in her performance!!

I enjoyed seeing Prince, whose presence on stage was brief, he was so good in his performance at the Super Bowl’s half time show!

I really enjoyed seeing Smoky Robinson and Lionel Ritchie who performed, prior to Christina.

Mary J. Blige….I just love her, she was another one who blew the show out of the water! Yeah Mary!

How could I forget, The Red Hot Chili Peppers were really good too! I really like them!

MSN Music Editor, Shaun Nelson gave a “Best & Worst” review in his on line article and he nailed it with his tongue-in-cheek, witty writing of the entire show! If you missed it, this will give you a fair review of what happened!

I am not into award shows, particularly these sorts of glitzy, overblown affairs. Having said that, I would have like to have seen The Police, though. They were the first 'punk' band I ever got into. I put the word punk in quotes because I know now the only thing punk about them was their dyed blond hair. But back in the late 70's, they were cool as f*&k...
