Captain America ‘dead’?!!!

“Oh no they didn’t!!!!” [As I say that, picture me swinging my head and snapping my fingers with my lips pursed in disbelief] – Yeah right, that’s one affectation that I don’t do!
In the next issue of Captain America, he will be killed, shot by a sniper – a sniper?!
I know the Captain wasn’t the most popular super hero around these days, but the fact that he was still around was, well, fine with me and I’m sure for the other super heroes out there who could count on him at the drop of a hat. Well they could! [says the 10 year old child in me]
Captain America was the hero who didn’t need super powers to fight off the bad guys. Yes I remember it was an injection that made him who he was but still, he didn’t need X-ray vision or spider web to swing on. He was almost the ‘normal’ super guy.
The people at Marvel Entertainment said that it’s a possibility that he would be resurrected again, “…comeback wasn’t impossible.” They said.
If that’s the case, why kill him off at all? Why not try to ‘reinvent his character’? Come to think of it, there will be a movie coming out sometime in the future, so this doesn’t make sense to me at all!
Then again, maybe this will make the movie more interesting and people will want to go see it! Ah well, see ya later big guy.

He's been around since what, 1941? In all those years he's survived and a sniper gets him? He's got a shield on top of that made out of some superstrong imaginary metal...jeez. A sniper?...what a bland way to go for a superhero. Ah well, I'd imagine it'd either be a dream or a coma situation if they want to bring him back.
So apparently they're making movie, huh?...much like every other comic book they keep bringing to life.

Well he just went through the "civil war" in the Marvel universe. He led the rebellion.

I know, what a lame way to go for a super hero!!
Well he just went through the "civil war" in the Marvel universe. He led the rebellion.

I remember! I have yet to understand why there was a need for a 'civil war'. But I digress....I guess I'm not following as closely as I should, I did miss some of the issues!
Maybe he'll make his comeback when the movie is released.
That seems to be the plan!
