32 Things you can do with Beer!
Published on March 22, 2007 By foreverserenity In Blogging
Oh the good life.....bathing in beer, washing my hair in beer, cooking with beer....yes I do it all, except the bathing part...that I've never done and didn't realise you could do until now! Seriously!

I like to think I'm a connoisseur of beer (in my own humble way) because I just enjoy drinking it! I love a wide variety. The colder the better is how I like mine. I realise that not many people like their beer cold, rather, at room temperature. In fact, there is a Beer Club somewhere out there and I'm going to find it! You know, just like those Wine Clubs where you get one sample a month via the mail...yes...beer mail - a beer drinker's heaven!

I saw this article listing the varied use of beer on men.msn.com...what? women drink beers too! Anyway, they list 32 things you can do with it. The hair washing and the cooking (in certain dishes and only the meat!) I've been doing since I was 18!

You wouldn't just bathe in any regular beer though, it would have to be the German Badebier. You fill up the tub, jump in and soak up a wonderful experience. At the end of your bath you're not supposed to rinse, just pat dry and it will not only leave your skin clean, it will leave you smelling like fresh baked bread! I do like the smell of fresh baked bread but I'm not sure about not rinsing or even the soaking in beer part!

You can also use beer to put out a fire, make barbecue sauce, they give a great recipe and even polish your pots! Who knew!

You can build a house, that's number 24 on the list...and you'll have to read it to believe it! It also is good for an upset stomach, flushing kidney stones and lowers your blood pressure! I'm impressed!

The article was written by Joe Kita on Men's Health! Enjoy!

Ok, I gotta rope right here Doc. I think I heard Curly Lambeau rolling over in his grave. My gott man; ever been stoned to death by cheeseheads?!!

Dayum straight...we might even get 'em to hang this guy high at a pregame show. EVERYONE knows that brats were meant to be cooked in beer!

To paraphrase words of Gideon's avatar: arrrggghhhlll beer... Is there anything it can't do?

I like a good Beer Cheese Soup in a bread bowl... with a pint on the side, of course.

A friend of mine asked me once if I would pour a beer on his grave once a week after he dies. I told him sure! But can I filter it through my kidneys first?

Of course that would be the ultimate tribute! After buring my mom all of us siblings went back to her grave, all with a brewsky or whatever was our fav drink and we saluted her, gave her a drink and drank ourselves into a nice comfort zone! My mom loved to party and that was the ultimate tribute to her!lol! It was an open bar all night and the bar was conveniently near the family plot!lol!

What's with needing to drink, while partying? Seriously, I never had fun when i drank...(yes yes, i drank underage.) I mean, i've learned to have fun without it. Yet, I see some of my friends going off, and...some of them getting drunk, because (they say) they wanted "to have fun."

*sighs* Meh, I don't know...maybe i've changed a lot.

Anywho...sorry FS. Your topic just got me thinking.

Ah yes, beer. A subject near and dear to my heart. I do love a good frosty pint now and again.

Have you tried Arrogant Bastard Ale? It's a bit hard to find but it's quite good.

I wouldn't want to bathe in beer though. Seems like such a waste of beer.

You don't have to drink to have fun...but it helps! The thing is how you handle yourself while drinking. Are you drinking to get stone drunk or are you drinking out of enjoyment of having a drink while socializing? There's a difference.

Underage drinking is such a waste because how can a 16 - 18 year old appreciate the art of drinking? They have no clue and it messes with their brain so it's not good to do! You spend your night in a vomit-filled-wrenching-wretched-pain haze...and the morning after....that's no fun!

No I haven't. I 'll look out for one! Yeah, bathing in beer is a waste!

Yeah, given time and a kick (literally) in the arse...i realized that.

Something that my girlfriend and I had a problem with for a while, was that she would drink....a lot, pretty much, she'd go out and get drunk. Now, she's cut back her drinking quite a bit, but still has had times where she's gone out and got stone drunk. *shrugs*

I've tried to talk to her about it, cause i get really worried/freaked out when she's out drinking; not that she'll cheat, but that something might happen to her.

Ya know?

Wow! Some people do that, I've heard. I know people who just do it to unwind and really get stank or make that tanked!!

After a while though it will become a problem and the reason for doing it really might be more to it than just letting loose. I hope she has a designated driver and that she, being female, doesn't drink alone because of some preditory males out there. Yeah, reality bites, but it's things to be aware of.
