I haven't been tuning in to America's Next Top Model too much this year. I've gotten over the novelty of it and I hate the fact that seeminly the skinnier you are the more chance you have of winning! This year I did watch the first episode because I knew of one of the models from another friend, through another friend, you know how that goes. So I had to tune in to see how she was doing. She's still there, and doing well I might add!
I must say that I don't agree with America's Top Model's judges who look at those two beautiful women, full-figured women, as the judges, the industry and society claim them to be, Whitney and Diana, just because they are not a size 0 or size 2! They both ended up in the bottom two tonight just because the judges couldn't look past their bodies and look at the women themselves.
Why do they bother to put 'full-figured' women in the show if each season none of them even make it to the top two? It's a farce! Just a way for them to look good and to say that they are 'all inclusive'! Even though Tyra's intent might be sincere, women who are above a size 8 do not and will never stand a chance in that show!
So goodbye Diana and good luck Whitney! Don't let the other 'model-type-pefect-looking-in-the-judges-eyes' get you down just because you're not skinny like they are! You two are fierce beautiful women!
