Life as I Know It; Family; Lifestyle; and Healthy Living!

Because our society is so overweight, not to mention our children who are now following in the adults footsteps by being overweight too, snack vending machines will now offer healthier alternatives to the fat, greasy offerings out there!

YoNaturals will be offering healthier choices with their new venture into vending machine land by offering dried fruits, organic mile and vitamin water, instead of candies and soft drinks!

I say it’s about time! I'm all for this happening, especially in our children's schools. The snack machine at my job began offering more healthier versions as well. We now have choices of nuts, whole grain chips, baked chips and other choices that are much better for us to snack on. There are still one or two candy bars and regular pototo chip for the die hard fanatic who must have their chips though!

I am glad they still offer chocolate bars. Hey, a girl has got to have her chocolate!

At a job where I used to work when I lived in Ohio they had a vending machine with healthy items. I don't think many people used it, though. The main things I would get from there was the dried fruit and baked chips.

In another vending machine machine they had skim milk, fruits, salads, and yogurts. The guy who filled the machines up would tell me the company hardly made any money from the healthy stuff. I think we should have only been offer more healthier options. Make it harder for me to get my Reese's cups.

I don't think that would be the same today, not making money. More people are into eating healthier than say five years ago.
