Life as I Know It; Family; Lifestyle; and Healthy Living!

We thought we were in hell
It might as well have been, it was an end
An end to our world as we knew it to be
Never to feel safe again
To cry, to worry, to be angry
Look what they did to us!
Our city, our county, our world!

But we cannot let them win
We cannot let them think
That they succeeded
In wiping us across the floor
As our soldiers fight
To defend and to protect
Our world
We must remember, we must never forget
But we must remember with pride
And love and fond memories
Of those who have gone on
Before their time

We must remember that as long as we have breath
We will never let them get the better of us
Never let them make us cower
Ashamed of whom we are
We are Americans
We are free
We are who they WANT to be
Even though they say otherwise
They can never take our heart away
And they never will!

“'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.”
