Have you ever had one of those moments in your life, when everything might not be perfect but they're just fine? You are grateful for your blessings while keeping others in your thoughts and prayers and hoping that everything will continue to go well..then whammo! You get hit with a load of bricks and your smashed against a wall wondering how did you get here?
That's been my week in a nutshell! I can't go into too much without getting other people's business all over the 'air' but I just keep getting one devastating news after the other and I feel bad for some of my friends and what's going on in their lives right now. Then I get more bad news and I don't want to hear anymore.
I had a bad case of a virus that went through my entire household, each of us being hit with it, as soon as one person is over it, it is very delibitating! I was worried, everyone except for hubby seems to be recovered fairly well, I'm keeping an eye on him and he's in denial...as usual!
My family back home are hit with such a bad situation right now I can't get into it without tearing up and praying for my nephew (18) who is on the other end of the law right now, what you would call a royal set up and a shake down, that says it all. I pray he survives the weekend because they haven't seen him or heard from him and we're helpless until Tuesday...for all of you who pray, please say a prayer for his safety.
My uncle has been hospitalized very critical, thank heavens he's on the road to recovery.
I've had a bit of the fan hitting me in the face with some things and I'm getting my bum up to get things going because God is showing me what I keep on denying myself for a long time. Nothing to jump cartwheels but a fruit that needed picking that has been left rotting. I just need to stay focus.
I know I missed someone's birthday today? I'm checking the list in a minute and I am sorry I missed it! I enjoy doing those greetings and I feel it is a great thing to do for some of us don't usually have anyone making too much fuss over us, plus we're not too old to have someone say happy birthday, right? I love birthdays and I love making people feel good hence the birthday club blogs. I know some of you still enjoy receiving them and that is great!
So that said, would anyone like to do the greetings for April? That would be really nice. I'm not going to be on as often this month because of my focus on my family right now and I hope that someone will do it until I'm feeling joyful enough to do them.
If not, I'll think of something!
