Earth Day was the baby of Senator Gaylord Nelson.  See the attached link to read about what has evolved into today's Earth Day!

The crux of it is now, there are so many people who are concerned for the world that they live in!  Major changes might not happen today or tomorrow, but it is a wonderful thought to know that one day our children are going to care as much about our world as we do!  They will learn how to make choices that will have less of an impact on the environment around them, as we are all now learning to do.

I love the fact that Earth Day has evolved on the day of my own birth!  (and of course the other million or so people born on April 22!LOL!)

If you don't plan or haven't done anything really big or splenderous as your contribution to this wonderous day, anything that you do, no matter how small, will make a difference.

What we have to remember however, is don't just do one thing today, do something every day!

It's great to see that so many people care about our world and what's going on, in and around it and it's about time!

Here are a couple of links on what is going on around the world!

Adrian asked me to give him a "blowjoy" for Earth day. I was unclear on how that would help the environment.

Men.
