Life as I Know It; Family; Lifestyle; and Healthy Living!

Growing up I've always enjoyed watching television, (and still do!).  My dream when I was growing up was to become an actress.  Throughout my school life, Primary and High School, I was involved in the Drama Club and wrote and acted in a variety of Plays, most of them comedies.

One of the reasons (but not the only one) for my love of comedies was Harvey Korman!  He was such a wonderful comedic actor whose timing was so spot on all the time!  I enjoyed him in Blazing Saddles, to this date, it is amongst one of my all time favorite shows starring Harvey, Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder - three great comedic actors in my book!

The show that clinched his greatness for me though was the Carol Burnett Show!  Harvey did some great acting with Carol Burnett and Tim Conway and others, I was literally on the floor for most of the half hour program each time their show was on!  He and the other stars, including Carol Burnett herself, outdid themselves on that show!

I was saddened to hear the news of his death this past weekend.   He has joined the list of the great comedic actors whom I will miss watching, along with John Candy, Cleavon Little, Chris Farley and Richard Pryor!

Rest in peace "Hedley Lamarr", give a howdy to "Bart" and them other fellahs for me!

I will miss him. But I will not miss the doofuss that kept saying he played the role of "Governor Hedley Lamar"! I guess the copy writer did not see the movie.

He was a politician I think, but not a governor!  He was one of the good ones!

It's a good thing Harvey Korman died before Tim Conway!  I bet Harvey Korman wouldn't even make it through a Tim Conway funeral without cracking up! ;~D

Harvey Korman was a master at comedy!

I would love when Tim Conway would make him laugh on the Carol Burnett Show.

He was also great as Ed Higgins on Mama's Family.

Yes, he will be missed.

All the good old comics are dying, and the new ones aren't as funny.

Gimme Carlin or Pryor any day over Chris Rock.
