Today would have been my mom's 64th birthday.
I had planned a day of doing the things she enjoyed. First, taking the day off just to spend time with her. Preparing a lovely breakfast for her to enjoy. Going to the hair salon to have her pampered a bit. Then off to the mall we would have gone, cause she loved to window shop and letting her choose her birthday present would have been an extra special treat!
Having lunch, something hot, the way she likes it. Then spend some more time window shopping and people looking too. Then going home to her favourite meal with a glass of red wine. Then end the day vegetating in front of the television watching her favourite programs. She loves doing that too.
Just letting her bask in the special day that would have been hers.
Too young to have left us, her physical being no more, her presence evermore.
