One of our adventures last year was to visit our local Science Museum.  It was larger than I thought, being used to the large museums in New York.  There were some pretty interesting exhibits going on, one of them being the Titanic exhibit, but I didn't get in to see that one, although my son did. We went in to see a Norman Rockwell, exhibit (Kelly you would love this!) and others that were featuring things from ages ago!  It was rather interesting to see!  We even sat in an old Ford convertible, possibly one from the 1930s!  My daughter Amanda got the chance to play dress up and she was so adorable in all those clothes!  There's a boy in one of the pictures who looked so realistic!  He was a statue!

We also saw the Dinosaur exhibit, most of my pictures were of those.  There were some dinosaur experiences in my city last year, we managed to catch that one and also the live experience, which I will share another time!

Enjoy the movie!

I've tried but unless I do a direct link, which would leave my entire Photobucket account open, I can't get the movie to work for your viewing pleasure!  If anyone have suggestions, I would appreciate it!

I love going to museums. I wish we had more around here. I do love Norman rockwell, maybe one day I will make it to his museum in Vermont, I think.

2 artist I've always liked: Norman Rockwell and David Mann. Both are about as opposite as night and day but their pictures always paint a thousand words!

This was great! Almost like being there... except without all the standing and walking!

Happy New Year!

Is the Titanic exhibit one with the artifacts from the wreck?  I would really like to see that one!  But other than the special ones like that, I am not much into museums.

Oh me too!  In NY I took my kids since they were able to walk to see the diffent exhibits which were always fun!

I've got to review David Mann's work!  The statue of Norman Rockwell was so realistic, my daughter kept up an actual conversation with it, which I video taped! She kept asking it are you real, why do you just sit there?!lol!  It was very life size.  They also exhibitted his paintings!  Some one donated actual real stuff too!

Howdy stranger! So good to see you!  I'm just glad you guys were able to view it. I'm at work and I can't even view it from here, just as I can't from what I posted from home.  I will take the time to learn the ins and outs, just so busy and always multi-tasking!

My son loved it!  He said the ship was there and so were statues of the people.  I wanted to see it so badly, but by the time we were through with the Rockwell exhibit, the next viewing of that one would have been hours later.

I really want to go see that but no way will it come around here. Nothing ever comes here.

I still don't think they would've came here. How that old saying go, "It isn't Hell but you can see it from here".

Nothing, Donna. To show how bad it really is I'm the best thing to ever come to this city.
