Life as I Know It; Family; Lifestyle; and Healthy Living!

I can't believe that people have nothing better to do than go crazy over what Jessica Simpson looks like now.  Gone is that really thin size 0 (I'm guessing) body that she was to wear those Daisy Dukes.

The poll that Showbiz Tonight did 82 percent said it wasn't OK for people to criticize Jessica, especially in the manner they did, really bad some people! 18% said yes, they have the right to criticize her!  Public figure aside, that kind of attention is definitely very bad for anyone, and does a lot of harm their confidence.

It's amazing to me that Jessica had to get herself to such a tiny size to fit those Daisy Dukes in the first place so I guess with her being a size 6 or 8 now, which is not big anyway, is apparently not good enough for those who loved her size !  I don't believe Catherine Bach was even as tiny as Jessica was in that movie, which I hated by the way!  Catherine had beautiful curves!

Seeing that Jessica Simpson had to workout really hard to get in shape the way she did, and have a very rigid schedule to keep that weight off, I'm sure it wasn't good for her health.  If a woman is not naturally thin, or a smaller size, it would most certainly be very difficult to keep that new look up forever.  People go through different things at different times and it will or can affect their bodies!

This kind of harsh criticism does send the wrong message to young girls who are very impressionable.  Sure being healthy is important, we all know that.  For some people, it is a matter of health as well as for some, just wanting to feel confident and look good.

However, no matter what,  it is being happy with one's self that is even more important!

Criticizing her about weight is a waste of time.  Really who cares.

But having said that, you know what really shocked me?  Those pants and that belt.  And that I only really care about because that could potentially effect me.  Those things aren't coming back into style, are they?  I heard they were.  All I can say is "icky pants!"  If anything, she should fire her stylist.

There are those that would argue that it's not only wrong to critisize her weight, but it's also wrong to acknowledge her whatsoever.

Definitely on the weight bit!  Quite a double-edged complement! I'm not a fan, but hey, she's out there doing for herself, more power to her!

[my fingers hit the submit too fast!]  Yes, her choice of clothing was rather surprising!  Naw, mommy jeans are no longer in style, at least, they were done with before she wore them!
