So its "save humanity" not "save earth

In essence, "one hand washes the other", or as the saying goes, "same difference", i.e., because saving the Earth is saving Humanity!

I didn't think so much about this until I came across these photos. I thought the java photos where pretty cool. They fade to show the various structures before and after they dimmed their lights. Then it really hit me, what a ******* joke! Are we suppose to believe that the owners of these structures give a damn about anything but the bottom line? The massive amount of power these places use the other 364 days of the year (which appears to be mostly cosmetic) is obscene. The only thing these people did was expose their hypocrisy and bring attention to their  gluttony. And we are suppose to clap our hands in awe and fallow the lemming over the cliff.

Another interesting observation: It seems from many of the photos the gimmick had little support in the surrounding areas. I guess not everyone finds the kool-aid so sweet.

Many people have come to the conclusion that humans are a cancer that destroys the earth, and that "nature" and aspects of it are more important then humans. This is a case where the "means" becomes the "goal". The means for saving humanity was the preservation of nature, but the goal has become the preservation of nature to the detriment of humanity.
