Another one's got us in it's sight!

I'm sitting here going noooooooooooooo! Not again!

Not another Hurricane!

Just this morning my son said to me that we seem to be so lucky this time around because there’s been a lot of Tropical Depressions and some bad weather but no hurricane. I agreed with him. It looks like we talked too soon. Because here comes Hurricane Katrina bearing down on our neck of the woods!

NOoooooooooooooooo! I can’t take it! Now here goes the scampering for gas and water and canned food items. I already had some supplies put away but I was hoping not to have to pull them out this year, at least not this early!

Noooooooooooooooooooo!

Deep breaths…….OK….I’m breathing again. They said if it hits us it will be here on Saturday. Well there goes any plans we had for the weekend.

Then again, we can look on the bright side. Maybe no work for a couple of days (in my dreams!) and maybe we can go to the place we sheltered the last time and be fed and sleep (yeah right – who could sleep)!

I’m still not moving, not yet anyway. So until then I guess I’ll just keep yelling….nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I hope so! So far it's in the Southern part of Florida. I'm up above centrally!

Psst!  Get out of the city!  The Burbs are the place to be!  Grand living is the life for me! Just give me that Suburb style!

Watched PrimeTime Live last night and saw about some woman almost drowning in her car last year. Was that near you, doc?

I don't think you could pay me to live in Southern Florida... yet people continue to flock there. Is it just really loving the warmer weather?

Take care, serenity... we'll be praying for ya up here in NH.

Could have been.  About 9 people died because of the flooding.

It's a totally different environment than say living up North (where I used to live). It's a bit more like being on vacation all the time - if you ever get the chance to enjoy it that is!

Thanks HC, It does look like Katrina is out in the Gulf of Mexico right now. I just hope she doesn't make a roundabout and come at us here!

That's so sad. This time around the water and not the wind was more of a danger.
