So anyway, today was supposed to be a wonderful day of fun at the great Islands of Adventures with the kids...had I found where the heck I tuck the tickets away for safe keeping...gosh darn it...all three of them looked at me and shook their heads tut tutting at their poor mom/wife...why do I always do that?! I know what you're thinking!  Here we go again, another cockamamie crap about saving the Earth!  You're getting sick and tired of these do-gooders-environmentalist-global warming creepos-wannabees telling you what to do again! I know, irritating isn't it?!  But think about it this way....somehow, someway what they are saying must be a ring of truth to it?  So many people from all over the world are talking about something to do with the changes our Earth is and has been...

I've been thinking about this recently.  Especially with what has occurred with situation in Tibet.  Once again its the bigger country wanting to take over the little one, especially when there's a sense of entitlement to it.  But then hasn't China been wanting Tibet for years now?   First Tibet, then Taiwan and the other independent nations close to it?  Where do they stop? 

 

The little knowledge I have of Tibet is of it being a peaceful place and very spiritual, ran by monks under the Dalai Lama's leadership.  At least they were peaceful until China try to forcibly take over so many years ago that put the Dalai Lama in hiding for many years.

I don't remember entering a lottery but according to this fantastic email I received this morning, I won some money, in US dollars and wow, $950.000.00....I'm rich!

All I have to do is follow  the directions, send the information they asked for...and there's something else.....I'm not supposed to tell anyone....shhhhhh!

I haven't written about my body in progress in a while but I'm still at it!  So I joined Weight Watchers, I attended my third meeting last week, so that's my 2nd week on the program.  I didn't lose anything, haven't lost any weight on the scale at all at my second weigh in! I has my monthly cycle the first meeting I attended after joining and gained 2ounces!  Which I know was water and I told them and that didn't count, yeah!

There's a new show on Fox that I've been watching and it has been pretty interesting so far.  I saw the trailers for their new series New Amsterdam and was sceptical at first but decided I would give it a chance, being the avid television watcher that I am!

I actually missed the first episode, but caught the second one that same week!

I got home a bit late last night.  I took the afternoon off to do some errands, namely get the registrations to our cars renewed since it's hubby's birthday, that time is back!  There I was sitting in the DMV chatting with some guy when my hubby walked in!  Nothing of it, but I was surprised to see him, he came to keep me company after he left work.  He's turning 51 this weekend, and I must say he is looking pretty darn good for his age!
