Being Spoiled on Mom's Day! I had to wait for it but I got to eat breakfast in bed!  Of course that's not an unusual thing for me since my darling hubby likes to surprise me with breakfast in bed on Sunday Mornings....most of the time! This morning I had to wait because he wasn't up as early as usual on a sunday morn, that might be because I was lying on top of him.....with my clothes on...get your mind out of the gutter! hahaha....I was cajoling him to get up and ...

In light of the uproar over Miley Cyrus' "scandalous" photograph ,[https://forums.joeuser.com/310120/page/1/#1719278], so vastly overrated!   I’m all for protecting our children and I am not certainly in favor of them being forced to grow up before their time.  In other words, doing or getting involved in anything that is not for them because they are too young and don’t need to be involved with anything that would be bad for them!

Braeden, aka Sancho Nino made a comment on the blog that I wrote regarding the scandal, it was an interesting and enlightening response which made me go ‘hmmm..”  and gave me more food for thought.

I recently realised (some weeks ago) that all those icons that look alike on the front page represent articles written by different bloggers! I couldn't understand why that person was so popular and why was he getting so much time and why always front and center?  Then when I waved my mouse over the icons, a different name showed up for each!LOL!  That's JUs default icon I guess?!   Jokes on me.....duh! hahaha

Let me tell you it's been hectic, hectic with everything that goes on in and around my personal life. But I'm sure no more so than for you as well!  Some people handle stress and life little or big problems in different ways. Some of us take it head on, wrestle the problems and move on.  Some worry it to death, try to deal with it, maybe get someone to help, then life goes on as usual.  Some get totally introverted. They cut off themselves from the outside wor...

Have you ever had one of those moments in your life, when everything might not be perfect but they're just fine?  You are grateful for your blessings while keeping others in your thoughts and prayers and hoping that everything will continue to go well..then whammo!  You get hit with a load of bricks and your smashed against a wall wondering how did you get here?

I don't remember entering a lottery but according to this fantastic email I received this morning, I won some money, in US dollars and wow, $950.000.00....I'm rich!

All I have to do is follow  the directions, send the information they asked for...and there's something else.....I'm not supposed to tell anyone....shhhhhh!

Yes, I wanted you to know, it works (first time I tried it when looking for a particular article) and it rocks!   You just have to be specific with what you're searching for.  Much like Google, you can use one or two words, phrases and walla!    Thanks for including this in the new set up.  It was one of the features I asked for!   See, it's not all about whining you know!

I realize there are several articles written about the new format, and I've added my thoughts so far in some of those articles. [positive of course!] But I need to ask because on searching for my original blog, all I found was.......: JoeUser » foreverserenity » Life As I Know It » [Sometimes random ... Life As I Know It. Sometimes random or not, family, love, experiences, my life . foreverserenity's Profile. Blog created on Jun 15, 2004 ... fore...

Having an alias is OK, nothing wrong with that at all. I have an alias, but some of you know my real name (and vice versa). I've often wondered about the people who do create fake persona's though, what do they get out of doing that? Notoriety, perhaps! Is that how they can really be themselves or 'act real' - if they are real, they don't need to put on an act, wouldn't you agree?! It seems that some people do get a kick out of pretending though. Another thing that I never unders...

I just don't get it about people some time. Why are they such assholes? They do things to hurt others who don't deserve it, especially when they are in a position to do it! Life is too short to be so mean and selfish. There are times when people are in a bad mood, that is a given. Anger makes people do the most god awful things sometimes. When someone is truly sorry, they say it and move on and sometimes they are the better for it. When they keep hate and anger in, they become ...

In an office setting everyone, and I mean everyone communicates by Email. If you can tell me of any office that doesn't, then I would be very surprised about that! Even if everyone doesn't have a computer to use, there is at least one main personnel who has a computer and should be able to inform and alert the team of what is going on. Take for example if you have scheduled a big meeting and you have informed everyone, via Email, what they will be doing, got information together, gave ...

I've never heard of this, but an all-chocolate room was unveiled in Manhattan today! That's ALL Chocolate, EVERYTHING made of the good stuff! The walls, the furniture, the bulbs in the chandelier, the paintings hanging on the wall! Impressive! Godiva is doing it as a promotion, they have an annual contest (I wasn't even aware of this)! This year, purchase a Godiva chocolate costing $23 or more and you might be the lucky one to win a weekend for two stay in the chocolate room they plan...

I was amazed to hear the news reporter quip "there's a warning about Sesame Street, it might not be good for your child", then went to commercial! Don't you just love it when they do that?! Then you hang on til they come back and read the story at the end of the next half hour! It's not really the current episodes of Sesame Street that are bad for your children, it's the versions from 40 or so years ago. There are now Volumes I & II out on DVD that features story-lines, or skits that...

I watched a music video today by Martina McBride and was really moved. She was singing her song, one I've come to like, "Where would you be"? In the video she was on the streets of New York with a over sized sketchpad, telling people she's doing a documentary and asking them "What do you wish for"? Some people were taken aback by the question, I guess it is not one they are asked often, much less to share publicly. What I noticed was that about 90 percent of the people wish for ch...

I wanted to tell those of you who took the time to send a Christmas card to me and family, THANK YOU! It was a lot of fun opening the mailbox everyday, and seeing one or more cards at different times! My kids got a kick out of it and I explained to them who each of you were and they can't believe that I have friends from the Internet, even now!lol! My hubby has even gotten OK with that fact too! Your cards became a part of my Christmas decor, that I'm about to pull apart and take...
