I've learned.... That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes. I've learned.... That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for. I've learned.... That money doesn't buy class. I've learned.... That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular. I've learned... That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved. I've learned.... That the Lord didn't do it al...

You have to admit that there are some really funny and wacky commercials out there. Some of them make you have that deep belly laugh. Others makes you shake your head in amazement or wonderment. Trying to figure out, what were they thinking. Here's a list of a few of the ones I find particularly funny, everytime I see them. (1) The Citi commercial with the husband about to take a flight so he piles on several outfits all at once because he doesn't want to loose his luggage. The wife ...

This will be brief, but I had to mention this. I heard on GMA (that's Good Morning America) that Michael Jackson is being sued again. This time by a family whose mother died the same day that Michael was treated for his flu/stomach virus. Apparently, the woman had several heart attacks and was in a special room on respitory machines. Her family was with her, it was appartently touch and go where she was concerned. Then in comes Michael Jackson, the hospital room gets roped off, and emp...

I'm still sick. Not as badly as last week, but I'm still not a hundred percent yet. That's partly my fault though cause I've not gone out to get my vitamins yet. But I will do so this weekend. In the meantime, people around me are dropping life flies! It's been a skeleton staff this week. some people here have been out for two, now three to four days. The Flu does not discriminate! It doesn't care who you are, how fit you are or even if you did everything under the sun to protect yo...

When I wrote my last blog it was about my missing JU for a day. I boldly, I thought, used the words “Internet Addiction”. After posting my article, reading and responding to various comments, which were quite interesting by the way; I perused the Website to see what was the flavor of the day, as I like to call it. Apparently, there were other blogs about the very same thing – internet addiction! Truthfully, I was surprised. I guess we’ve all been around each other too long…we’re beginnin...

Addiction IS too strong a word to use, but I'm convinced that I must have an addiction for this blogsite, JoeUser.com. I didn’t make an appearance yesterday, and it felt like I had an itch that wouldn’t go away unless I scratched it - if you know what I mean. I felt as if I was missing out. I've gotten so used to stopping by, dropping in on my internet friends. Reading what’s going on in their world and having the honor of making a comment here and there. Laughing at the sense of h...

This email I received made me laugh and I wanted to share it! Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend by the name of Common Sense who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic Red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such value lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the Worm and that life isn't always fair. Common Sense lived by simp...

I feel... tired, old, worn out, hungry, hot, cold, bothered miserable, I want my mommy.... I feel achy, weak, limp, listless I know they're words with the same meanings but I really don't care.... It's been a while since I've been sick with the flu or is it the cold? I have no idea, but a bug is going around, and I've caught it My baby had it, she caught it from her brother I caught it from her because she kept slobbering kisses all over my face And insisted that I eat from her...

I’m bummed out Dealing with life My creative side I used to be able to stay up all night Spent hours doing things I love Now I hardly do that My brain Overflows with ideas but can’t seem To put the pedal to the metal to get to them How do I continue what I’m passionate about? I carry on the tradition It's now my turn to face the challenges The circle continues The cycle continues

I and many others of my generation have lost their Mom's already, but if you haven't...this email I received may be worthwhile. After 21 years of marriage, My wife wanted me to take another woman out to dinner and a movie. She said I love you but I know this other woman loves you and would love to spend some time with you. The other woman that my wife wanted me to visit was my MOTHER, who has been a widow for 19 years, but the demands of my work and my three children had made it ...

Ah kids, love them, will die for them, but boy there are times when I want to throttle them or run away from them. Lately we’ve been going through a lot with our three children. We have them at varied ages as you might be aware if you read my blogs, 15 year old girl, 10 year old boy and 3 year old girl. Sometimes I wonder where did our wonderful, cheerful children go. Who are these people that seemed to have replaced them? Why do kids always try to push you to the limits? Ah geech…. ...

There has been a persistent murmur about deodorant and antiperspirant that one of them or both causes cancer. I’ve been hearing this for sometime now. I’ve ignored it but it keeps coming back and it makes me wonder, is this something I need to worry about? Earlier today I was reading responses to a blog thread by Greywar or Gideon, forgive me guys, now, let me stop to see whose it was….it was Gideon’s (see link below), fellow JUser, Kobrano responded and one of the things he menti...
